Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Director of Admission within the Higher Education sector. This is a direct hire, onsite opportunity in St. Louis, MO.
Candidates must have experience in Admissions for Graduate (and above) Programs.
The Admissions Director is responsible for leading the recruitment, admissions, and enrollment efforts to attract and retain a diverse and qualified student body. This strategic leadership role involves developing and executing initiatives that align with institutional goals while ensuring an exceptional prospective student experience. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in enrollment management, data-driven decision-making, and team leadership to drive admissions success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement admissions strategies to meet annual enrollment targets.
Lead and support the admissions team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and revenue goals.
Collaborate with Marketing, Financial Aid, and Academic Affairs to enhance student engagement and execute targeted recruitment campaigns.
Operations & Process Management
Oversee the full admissions cycle, from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring an efficient and seamless process.
Analyze enrollment trends and provide data-driven insights to optimize recruitment strategies.
Establish and maintain policies for transparent, equitable, and compliant admissions practices.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing admissions team.
Provide coaching, professional development, and regular performance evaluations.
Foster a student-focused and collaborative team culture.
Outreach & Recruitment
Represent the institution at recruitment events, college fairs, and outreach programs.
Cultivate relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other feeder institutions.
Expand recruitment efforts to reach diverse domestic and international student populations.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to institutional policies and federal/state admissions regulations.
Regularly report admissions metrics and offer actionable insights to senior leadership.
Stay informed on higher education trends and enrollment strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in admissions or enrollment management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams of 6+ required.
Proven success in developing and executing admissions strategies.
Proficiency in CRM platforms and admissions systems.
